Free Lion Design

While finding vegan food options can be a challenge, finding vegan fashions and accessories can be an even more daunting task. I recently met up with Sherazad Jamal (which translates to Free Lion in Persian), artist and founder of Free Lion Design, who hand makes repurposed vegan bags out of vinyl and other recycled materials.

Not only are the bags made by Sherazad herself, but every bag design is a unique, embroidered creation lined with vintage cotton from her mother’s leftover sewing projects. Her aesthetically pleasing designs feature themes surrounding change, chaos and creation. We love supporting local, handmade goods, and these bags are pretty cute ta boot…Check ‘em out!
