Oh, What a Night!

The party last night to celebrate the launch of our new site, www.TheVeganProject.ca was a HUGE success! As soon as 6 o’clock hit it was off with a bang!

We had Matt from the Vega Team sampling smoothies, salad dressing and more, and Laura from Arbonne letting everyone try her cruelty-free, vegan beauty products. We had the site up on the big wall and available for all to navigate their way through. Jenny and Corey on the bar served up the night’s signature cocktail (created by the one and only Lauren Mote), Pilsner and wine.

And the Food, oh the food! We served raw bruschetta, sushi, and veggie wraps from Organic Lives. Personal Chef Mandi Hanson shared her delicious vegan spanakopita with tomato coulis. Gardein generously donated a ton of their 7 Grain Crispy Tenders for all to enjoy. And there was a selection of fresh veggies with a caramelized white bean dip and cashew ricotta stuffed cherry tomatoes prepared by yours truly.

Wicked house beats were played by our favourite local house mastermind, DJ Krown.

We raised lots of $ for Top Chef (still tallying the numbers..), saw many new faces as well as many dear friends and overall had the evening turn out better than we could have ever hoped. We are verklempt…
