Vancouver Vegan Shoe Store | Nice Shoes

Last Friday, The Vegan Project ladies went for a fabulous brunch at Slickity Jim’s (since our first review, we’ve figured out exactly what to order to satisfy our particulars – the veggie sausages are to die for!) and then headed over to Nice Shoes on Fraser Street in Vancouver to see what all the fuss was about.

We were impressed! This season’s hottest foot fashions were on display in vegan form. They have gladiator sandals, Steve Madden espadrilles, cute flats, Doc Martin-esque stompers, and hikers for you outdoorsy types. They also carry a scrumptious selection of veganized versions of classic candy bars, wallets, bags and shoe polish (which is not tested on animals). We left with two adorable wallets and several candy bars that were quickly devoured before we even got home.

Nice Shoes is the first store of it’s kind in Vancouver and we hope this encourages vegan fashion boutiques to start popping up throughout the city. We will certainly be back for more!
